Cheers to all the armchair quarterbacks who said Max had matured the last few years. No...he just didn’t have any competition and wasn’t being stressed. Now that he’s having to fight for podiums, the Max “if I can’t pass you, I’ll crash you” Verstappen is back..same as he ever was. His radio commentary was my “Cartman…
I agree. And penalties should have a bite. Maybe a DQ for causing an accident due to dangerous driving.
The person who wrote this article is not British, you don’t have to be British to be able to criticise Max’s current driving
Max was a jackass when he first got the Red Bull seat and he’s a jackass now.

America
I’ve been saying dude is a spoiled brat that doesn’t care if he hurts others since day 1, this is not a surprise at all
Needs more Lincoln Futura.
Nissan Skyline GT-R R32, the real Godzilla which got its name from actually winning various races, unlike R34 which is FnF obviously
Duh, McLaren F1
Vauxhall/Lotus Carlton. So much speed in such an unassuming, yet practical package.
Not a car so maybe it doesn’t count, but the 1991 GMC Syclone (honorable mention to the 3 years of the Typhoon). Built to take corvettes and all other comers at stoplights. AWD, 4.3 with a big turbo on top. The slow spool gave 5.0 mustangs hope...and then crushed it (unless you launched it and then it was just staring…
The absolute correct answer is the F1, it is easily the greatest performance car of the 20th century to be fair.
Audi RS2 Avant and Volvo 850R,
I think the McLaren F1 is the apex of 90s sports cars, but the best attainable car would be the Mazda RX-7, 3rd Gen. Not the fastest, but what a beauty.
Dark horse candidate: The C4 ZR-1 was a real monster for it’s day. Unfortunately, it’s price was also monstrous and no one bought them. But just look at that engine! Four cams, 32 valves, so complex that GM couldn’t actually build it, so they contracted it out to a boat-engine company. It was one of those ridiculous…
The 1990-95 Corvette ZR-1:
Man there are so many choices. Like all the choices.
Agreed re: all WDCs, but Max takes it to the next level. While Schuey and Ham did it to a certain extent, they didn’t do take it to the dangerous level that Max does.
This was another instance of what happens when you don’t enforce rules for the “chosen one” (this applies to Max, Hamilton, Schumacher, et al). When you let them get away with certain maneuvers to preserve the show rather than the racing, you end up with shitshows like the ‘21 debacle and now this.
If Trump gets back in to the White House, American democracy is over.
