A lot of good cars already mentioned, so I’m going to offer a pair that I didn’t see mentioned yet:

Even if I didn’t own one, I would still say the Volvo C30. Especially the Rebel Blue Polestars that we only got 250 of in the United States. The GTI and Mini were already too well-established to give the C30 much of a chance, resulting in a short model run with only about 20,000 sold in the US. Weird, quirky,

B5 RS4 preferably in Nogaro Blue.

2003 Infiniti M45.  340hp V8 rear wheel sedan.  Clean, simple tasteful lines. Still looks good today.

That clowns always travel with twelve or more in a single tiny car.

You have to warm up your car before driving

Nope, not unless you have a really old car, this one has just stuck around. Yes, you should let it warm up before you drive it hard so just get in and drive and that will warm it up, then you can send it

Have to disagree that it’s a stupid myth, or even just a myth at this point. Sure, there’s no difference between an auto or manual on the highway, when you’re just cruising in a straight line for hours in top gear. But every other situation, you’re STILL thinking twice about drinking your latte, texting etc with 5/6

Suddenly stopping is the issue...

Any car can be a flying car if you’re determined enough.

I would argue that learning to drive in a manual car makes you a more competent and therefore safer driver. However, yes, fully agree that driving a manual is in itself not safer.

That Full Self-Driving is full self-driving.

This is no longer as prevalent as it once was, but I used to hear people say they wouldn’t wear their seatbelt because it could trap them in case of a crash and they’d be safer without it.

If this gets out the maker will simply require a passcode to make those changes in the future. Won’t matter if you revert or not.

1991 Lotus Elan M100. Everyone wants to poo poo it for being from wheel drive but clearly “everyone” never drove one... this is clear by the fact they barely sold 300 of them in the US. Such a shame because it was way ahead of its time... 1100kg, faster than the Boxster that came out 5 years later, a trunk that

1999-2000 Escort ZX2 S/R

I’ve seen a few mentions of the MX-6 and MX-3, but to keep the Mazda train going, how about a forgotten 90s vehicle meant to herald the start of a forgotten brand?

Everyone tends to think of F50's, Diablos , and Vipers when you say 90's supercar, but I think the Esprit deserves a bit more attention. If it wasn’t for the weakly built transmission this car would have been able to debut with the 500hp it was fully capable and intended to have. Which would have been huge in the mid

1991-1997 Mazda MX-6, especially the 2.5 V6 LS version. Buttery smooth naturally aspirated engine and 5-spd manual transmission. Probably the best handling FWD car I drove except for the Acura Integra Type R (never had the pleasure of driving the Peugeot 205 GTI 1.9 or the Renault Clio Williams). The interior was a

Everyone loves the 1st gen Mazda Miata, and for good reason. I drove one, and it was excellent. You know what else Mazda made in the 90's that was also excellent that time has seemingly forgot? The MX-3.
