All you need, with Redline Straight up

Hey, I loved these.  And I also loved the 4+3!

Know what I really like about this? Look at how tall it actually is. They made it look this good while keeping a high enough roofline that it’s going to be useful as a CAR. It’s going to be easy to get in and out of, and looks like visibility will be good as well. I can’t tell you (as a salesman AND someone who plans

Well, I get to add “six pack on a pig bra” to the list of terms I’ve never heard before now.

It's Lacey Underall, dammit!

From my friends who rowed, one major observation is that the team has to be disciplined enough to harmonize with the lowest common denominator.  There’s no such thing as hero ball in crew.

Just let them through. When they pass you, you’ll never see them again and you’ve have dealt with them for like 5 seconds. If there’s a cop lasering people ahead, let them get caught. Is playing defense with these drivers more beneficial for you than just letting them through and never having to deal with them again?

The rudest thing that I do is use the horn to try and “educate” other, oblivious drivers.

The only rude thing I do is get a little closer than is advisable when some moron is blocking the left lane to demonstrate my dissatisfaction. I don’t do it all the time, if there’s traffic they have nowhere to go so there’s no point in being pissed off about it. But if they’re passing a truck doing 65 and it takes

In my state, at least, it is your fault if you’re in the left lane and you’re the slower vehicle. Very occasionally I can only assume that you need to be reminded of that.

This is such a bizarre article and series of responses I had to log in to Kinja after years of frustration finally resulting in completely giving up on commenting, including countless unaccountable bounces between grays and regulars, to comment.

I’m giving examples of hazards, obviously there’s not a way to communicate the exact nature when you’re passing by going the other way. But congrats, you learned something today. If someone flashes their lights at you, be alert for hazards and check your lights if it’s dark or raining.

I’ve seen people turn their lights on in response to me flashing my lights, so plenty of people understand that. And hazards are all over the place, what are you even asking? Windy back roads, maybe someone is walking on the shoulder but potentially out of view of an oncoming car, a stopped delivery truck with no room

I flash my lights fairly often, and it’s almost always precisely as a courtesy. From behind I’m signalling that it’s clear for a vehicle to move into my lane (truckers used to hit their flashers as thanks, but today’s drivers either don’t know or don’t care). At intersections I’m flashing to say “Go ahead,” whether to

Story of the production of the Mazda Miata. Lots of drama there and Americans will really like the story of the California design studio vs stodgy 1980s Japanese corporation spawning the most successful sports car of all time. Plus there’s so many Miatas that even if only owners and past owners went to see it the

Soichiro Honda- because he was a drunk maniac.

I would love a movie about how Ford, GM and Chrysler (primarily), had to switch up their factories, production, and tooling to make bombers and other aircraft for WW2.

The lost Shelby Daytona Coupe (CSX2287) that was found buried in garage around 2001. Its got it all. Crazy story that involed Carroll himself, Phil Spector, shady deals and a questionable suicide.

I would love to see a dramatization of the GM EV1 saga and Rick Wagoner’s short-sighted and foolish decision to kill the project, believing that electric cars occupied an unprofitable niche of the automobile market. GM could have been early to the game and become, for better or worse, the Tesla of the EV world instead
