I disagree...”Westie Can Drum” was worth buying all of them, and only previously available in poor audio quality cheesy bootleg form.

If you ever backed a C4 out of a single-car garage you came to appreciate the ‘rear cornering lamps’ very, very much. It’s not the easiest car to see behind, especially where the rear corners are, so in reverse using your side-view mirrors, the lights really helped determine how close you were to the door frame...very…
I should mention there was one game that was kind of special, but I am TOTALLY dating myself here...”Test Drive”
Would you say that arcade games are ‘video games’? If so, then the answer is, and has been since 1988, ‘Hard Drivin’’, and its sequel, ‘Race Drivin’’. It wasn’t the graphics, which were wire-frame renders. It wasn’t the ‘game’ itself, because it was pretty straightforward. It wasn’t (only) the force-feedback.
In NJ, it’s a challenge because of some of the reasons mentioned (different types and brands of vehicles for different municipalities, etc.), but also because there are just so damned many police in this state...and every munie seems to have a ton of money to throw at them, so they have excess vehicles and turn them…
As someone who despises bleu cheese, I tend to keep my Dirtys pretty close to olive...but I did a variant on your MSG that worked pretty well. I added a dash of Maggi into the shaker. It adds a bit of umami, and pumps up the flavor of the olives quite nicely, especially if you wound up with disappointing olives (you…
When we got our licenses, our dad gifted us each an Entrenching Device...a fold up shovel. I’ve always had one, in every car I’ve ever owned. I’ve only had to ‘use it in anger’ once, but I would have been royally screwed without it that one time, so it’s justified. It’s also come in handy at a beach vacation with…
Where’s “Season of Audi”? Or is that just an East Coast thing?
‘Netflix’ needs to rename themselves ‘Netseries’ or something, because they don’t seem to do many flicks anymore.
Verstappen is the prototypical “L’enfant terrible”, and has been since his first time in an F1 car. He is an entitled, spoiled, dangerous, bully in a car. And it is infuriating, absolutely infuriating, because he has skill and talent and doesn’t need to drive like a douche to be successful...but he does, and always…
It is truly a shame that many of the qualities that make F1 team leaders effective are the same things that make them entitled douchebags. Christian Horner would crash Lewis Hamilton (or anyone else in their way) off the track if he could...him going so hard against the very thought of it just shows that he has no…
Another consideration for iPad storage is backing the thing up...if you fill up a 1tb iPad, where are you backing that up to? If you backup to Mac/PC, you’ll need to ensure you have enough space...and if you use iCloud, you’ll have to pay for a higher plan than 5, or 50, GB.
I’m sure you’ve checked the manual by now, but most of the manual transmission cars I’ve had or seen do not have a dipstick for checking fluid. Most manual transmissions don’t have ‘fluid’, they’ll have gear oil/lubricant, which is a different thing.
My mom had one of these, in the darker red (I think this color was called Carmine Red, IIRC), and she loved it...wound up replacing it with a series of STSes in the Diamond Pearl (another pretty color).
“...and simply couldn’t make the turn.”
“Brokenhome Lonelyroller F1"
It’s far longer than 16 years...I remember reading about airless tires in PopSci in the ‘80s, and even back then the article mentioned that several ideas had been around since the ‘60s. I always assumed it was a Xerox type situation, short-sightedness and such, but I imagine the materials to make them a viable product…
And let’s not forget his perfectly acted role as the annoying ‘sinker of the Love Boat’ in ‘McHale’s Navy’...
Just a minor correction...BOTH FedEx and UPS use USPS for ‘last mile’ deliveries in many areas, though it is not all packages all the time. The services are SmartPost and SurePost. There are a number of factors that going into determining whether USPS is used...number of deliveries in the same route, overall volume…
Traction in poor/slippery conditions is ALL about the tires. Yes, AWD can get you going, and keep you going, better compared to a FWD or RWD car, all things being equal...but a two wheel drive car with good winter tires trumps an AWD car with all-seasons (aka ‘no-seasons) or lesser tires. There have been multiple…
