Yeah, it seems like with most the comments people get lost in the trivial details and forget what the show is supposed to be about.

Or maybe it’s not bad writing, just people don’t pay attention to or remember what is written. In episode one this season Sam clearly said Ruby was almost a teenager. Is there an age other than 12 where someone is a microsecond away from being a teenager?

In episode one this season Sam said to Alex that she was enjoying the microsecond before Ruby became a teenager and 13 is when someone becomes a teenager so I assumed Ruby was 12 at that point in time.

Or the time Alex arrested a civilian (Maxwell Lord) and brought him to the DEO. Or how Alex was willing to betray the DEO because she thought it was Jeremiah asking for help.

Maybe Alex’s phone went to voice mail.

I don’t see any way this is possible. Lena isn’t Kryptonian. Keep in mind Lena invented a device to test for aliens. She would have surely used it on herself to verify it was working properly. Plus Lillian caught Lionel with her pregnant mother. So unless she got switched at birth I don’t see how she got inside the…

I don’t think anyone on the show noticed that Julia is a black woman. I don’t even think the writers took that into consideration. Julia was just treated like a woman. Actually Julia was just treated like a person. A black, white, male, female actor would have been the same character.

I think if Alex hadn’t freaked out when Julia reached out her hand to Kara there would have been no problem. But, you know, have to move the story along.

Aren’t most kids about to become a teenager 12? What other age could Ruby possibly be?

Lena invented a device early in season 2 that Lena used on Kara, proving that Kara was a human. Actual hard proof that Kara isn’t the alien Supergirl would override hunches for a top level genius. What was the point of Lena inventing the device if Lena isn’t going to trust its results?

Jessica Queller has been writing Supergirl since season 1, episode 16 and Paula Yoo has been writing Supergirl since season 2, episode 4.

Lyra knew James was Guardian by his smell. I imagine he gets a little funky after wearing the suit while fighting bad guys all night long. Probably doesn’t smell like honey.

Everyone seems to forget that Lena has a device which proves Kara is a human. It is going to take a lot more than this to prove otherwise. Probably will come down to Kara telling Lena she faked the test.

You have to weigh this against Lena having proof that Kara is a human.
