Even if they do make a better Superman he is already tainted. Supergirl lets them start fresh.

Supergirl was always taken seriously.  Unless it was in something where Superman was also a joke.

Maybe.  But they think they are going to have another Wonder Woman.

Problem is there is already a Superwoman. Just like there is both a Batgirl and a Batwoman. It’s not like how Superboy was once just a younger version of Superman. And there are lots of other “girls” that are perfectly capable heroes.  Star Girl, Saturn Girl, Hawk Girl.  

That is how movie studios work. Throw it at the wall and see what sticks. We just don’t hear about movies that don’t involve DC superheroes because they aren’t sexy enough for the click-bait sites.   Would anyone care about a Jimmy Carter bio-pic that never got made?

Those episodes were already in the can though. It takes about 7 weeks from when an episode is made to when it airs. So starting over after episode 13 is around that time frame, 9 weeks.

Yeah, it seems like with most the comments people get lost in the trivial details and forget what the show is supposed to be about.

In episode one this season Sam said to Alex that she was enjoying the microsecond before Ruby became a teenager and 13 is when someone becomes a teenager so I assumed Ruby was 12 at that point in time.

Or the time Alex arrested a civilian (Maxwell Lord) and brought him to the DEO. Or how Alex was willing to betray the DEO because she thought it was Jeremiah asking for help.

I don’t think anyone on the show noticed that Julia is a black woman. I don’t even think the writers took that into consideration. Julia was just treated like a woman. Actually Julia was just treated like a person. A black, white, male, female actor would have been the same character.

I think if Alex hadn’t freaked out when Julia reached out her hand to Kara there would have been no problem. But, you know, have to move the story along.
