That’s true. Superman didn’t help Supergirl fight Reign in the comic books.

They probably want to do what happened with Supergirl and Reign in the comic books. Reign was rampaging through New York City with three other world killers and Supergirl had to take them on all by herself with Superman nowhere in site.

In the comic books Reign and three other worldkillers were rampaging through New York City and Supergirl had to handle all four all on her own. If Superman can’t even show up for that, why do you think he would show up in National City?

Actually Mon-El does have superspeed. They showed in in the episode with Livewire, for example.

Sounds sort of like The Mick too.

I thought Supergirl was a sequel to Man of Steel.

For me Van Wayne wanting to be Robin was hilarious.

Wonder what Kara’s reaction to him will be, having to have dealt with Livewire three times so far.

I’m with you, pal. Back when I was a kid we had some shows with 36 episodes a season and you can’t tell me the shows on now are higher quality than the shows were back then.

Smashing the statue with superspeed is a lot faster than trying to melt a giant block of ice. Here’s an experiment. Take a blow torch and melt a block of ice. Now take a sledge hammer and smash another block of ice. Use a timer both times and record which takes less time.

Still better than the one we got in Smallville.

It would have made more sense to put Snapper Carr in charge. It would have even been a better reason for James to be Guardian. Everyone else was promoted and he is stuck in the same job. Winn to the DEO, Kara to a reporter, Snapper to head of Catco. But James is still just a photographer.
