I agree with the bleach-shampoo step. But I’d pick out a shade that is slightly lighter than your desired result. The bleach process will make your hair absorb the new color more intensely than virgin hair (which i why you ended up with black hair instead of coffee brown). Good luck!!!

I experienced something very similar right after high school. It was devastating and I still think about it seven years later. It gets easier over time and I just want to plug grief support groups because they really helped me get to where i am today, especially if you’ve dealt with your own depression. Sending hugs!!!

Spinach and feta is a classic pierogi filling in Poland and delicious especially when fried. I made some tonight :)
