Saw this look in the airport—THE AIRPORT! that is a step too far.

Holy shit. Is it me, or Donald Trump actually sound like he was a normal person at one time?

OMG, right? I haven’t had a big issue with guys who can’t find it, more like guys who think you need to press it like a button and with WAY to much force. DUDE, it’s a ball of nerves!

Ummm, she’s in classical heaven. SHOSTAKOVICH ALL FARKING DAY. And Mahler at night. BAM.

For comparison, here are some samples from the mothership EDC here in Vegas which occurs after the sun goes down as nature intended and where being scantily clad is as much for survival as it is for rave fashion

I want to know how the conversation went down when you guys asked people to participate in this.

In a long professional life:

Two weeks notice is absolutely the standard, unless you are the CEO or something.

Last day at my job here! Just cruisin’ Lifehacker articles.

This is glorious. One of my other favorites was “hired mariachi band to play while I tap-dance my resignation letter to my boss’ desk.”

So the nature of my field means this place is a revolving door and people come and go. I don’t think we have a policy on two weeks’ notice and most people don’t even know when someone leaves and someone new is hired. People will customarily send out a department wide email (there’s only about 50 people working here)

I’ve known people who gave their 2 week notice because of going to another company and were fired the same day.

lol, my son give his two weeks notice and they fired him on the spot. lol.

Honestly, unless you’re a VP or higher, I don’t think that’s really the case. For most office drones there should be no reason that 2 weeks isn’t enough.
I actually find the practice of offering 2 week humorous, since companies can let you go with no notice whatsoever.

That’s why it’s customary (but not always necessary) to give two weeks’ notice when quitting, so your employer has ample time to find your replacement.

At the last accounting job I left at, I did all of the above, gave my notice, then gave a resignation letter, put together instructions on how I did all my duties, (I did spend time doing a lot of personal things in the last two weeks though, writing personal emails and such).

For me, leaving a crappy job I’ll just drop the bomb and quit, no notice. I’m not worried about burning bridges due to the fact that I would never work under the same collection of people in any situation. Fortunately for others they aren’t simply leaving a job that’s crappy in every aspect.
