Exactly my point! Yes, I work in a male-dom industry but it doesn't change how you behave from everyday life. Just get on with it, right?

Ha! This made me laugh!

Very kind of you, thanks... )

Cheers chaps - would happily write more (different stuff) if you'd like to read it.

Totally agree marketing/ events is different to technical work - but I guess it doesn't matter if you're male or female doing any type of job, right?

Thanks for the comments, guys (and girls?)!

Love a man with modesty. Bravo.

Agree - stereotypes are stereotypes, we all know what the reality is.

Much like when you search for something like 'male nanny' or some equally stereotypical female job. Cue photos of stressed-out blokes with a perplexed 'what's THIS?!' look on their face as they try to change a nappy/ feed a baby.

I've worked with a lot of car manufacturers - including Ford for a number of years now - and I have to say, Jim is refreshingly approachable, smart and down-to-earth. And - more importantly than anything else - he remembers to say 'Thank-You' to the right people.

I'm pretty sure this is more interesting than watching some of the recent WRC stage footage... Adore!

Just to say: Mikko didn't bolt or leave us in the lurch... His contracted ended and wasn't renewed.

Leave that one with me...

Nice to see an enthusiastic WRC fan who knows his stuff!

Rally France 2011, the young guy who won the Academy Championship (future stars of WRC battling for a €500,000 prize) managed to talk his way out of two speeding tickets on public roads, before being kindly escorted to the podium by one of the police cars who caught him.

I'm involved with organising similar events like this for Ford in Europe - motorsport related - and I have to say, the 'influencers' really respond well to the laid-back, hands-off experience, centred around enjoyment, not tag lines and enforced demos.

So a guy hit on you? Take it as a compliment, tell your friends, laugh, move on.

Tw.A.T.

Looks like a DeLorean DMC-12 mated with a Lancia Montecarlo.

Proud. That is all.
