There, fixed that for ya.
There, fixed that for ya.
Hey they could do it in 1921 (kinda, it was a production engine).
I was visiting with the parents a few months back and 60 Minutes was on tv. It was the Lewis Hamilton profile. When it was over, mom commented, “He’s a very smart young man, has a pretty big ego too. I hope it doesn’t get him into trouble in the future.” Mom is an old school psychiatric nurse and is pretty…
Tracy’s Jeep Odd-yssey to Moab was probably the most I’ve followed either Twitter or Instagram in my life. Cool stuff, still wished he had stopped in at Manhattan for a coffee so I could take a look at the professional Jeep bodging.
Some days you eat the bear and others the bear eats you.
Pretty much have to be an utterly perfect human being who hasn’t so much as glared at someone who cut you off in traffic if you want the other party to consider you a “good president” huh? Unless its your own side and then Atilla the Hun is a great guy if he polls high enough.
Yum yum! Baked rubber!! Yeah I’m not a big of the tire-next-to-motor arrangement. I’ve seen how badly weak rubber degrades in a remarkably short time under the hood, I couldn’t imagine a sealed spare tire under pressure not suffering any issues over time. I know the logic and science behind vulcanizing and heat…
These are utterly lovely, I hate him so. I once got to play with an early 1970s medium format for some portrait/art work in high school. Unfortunately I had to return the camera. I wish I had the wherewithal to take film photos with an old camera nowadays.
Gotta say the police auctions are interesting beasts. Our first purchase was an ‘87 Saab 900. During cleaning I turned up the remains of a crack pipe and steel wool. The wool was tossed in the trash and the pipe was smashed under my foot. The second purchase was an ‘86 Dodge W150 we bought for the solid cab. I…
Don’t forget some of the intra-department shared posts that have some tenuous transportation related theme that barely qualifies for Jalopnik status.
Can I get one too? I like chocolate chip!
Now if we could just get a FF IX remaster. I loved VII from the moment I saw “that” commercial on television but I had the most fun with IX.
No its not an attempt at humor at all. That engine should never have been in that car and its performance in that car should not reflect upon its overall durability. All engines have their stupid little issues and weak points, the m20s was certainly the timing belt. If the owner is stupid then sure, it’ll break and…
Nah its clearly the m20B25.
Damnit Westbrook you literally made me misty up a little bit with fond BMW memories.
Gizmodo needs to have a contest of “what was behind the black box” in which people submit video and picture entries. I like the idea, too bad it will never be noticed cause I’m in the grays....at least Jalopnik likes me...
Lordy I thought it said e28 M5 for a moment and about went into heart palpitations.
I know when the jackass gang member wiped out my first XR in the late ‘90s one of the first things the fire department did was wrench open my hood enough to cut the battery cables. I think it largely depends on who has made it to the scene and what equipment/policy they have in place regarding such things.
I’ll be sure to letcha all know after I see what happens.
