I’ve posted this story before, but my first accident happened during the March 2018 Nor’easter in Maryland. I was driving home from work when a light pole fell onto my car while I was in motion. That Hyundai was totaled, but I have no doubt it saved my life.

If this was a Pike’s Peak car, I wonder if they modified it to produce less down force at lower altitude.

I was driving home from work during the 2018 March nor’easter, and a street lamp fell on my car. I was unharmed, but my 2005 Hyundai Tucson was dead. I could easily have died, but my car made a heroic sacrifice.
