Well, Charlie Crews did get a $50MM payout from the LAPD.

Shit, Hollywood taking another stab at the machinations of Wall Street and getting it all wrong. A "forensic" look to boot. As a 20 year vet of that awful industry I can say without a shred of doubt that NOBODY who runs a hedge fund would allow someone to call them "Axe." Not even their attorney. Or the SEC. Or the

Agreed. Pretty much runs the spectrum of all the elements that make the show compelling - creepy, funny, exciting, sad (hated how things finished at the police station). Even the title is smart. I had to look it up as I never took Latin.

Jus in Bello and the End were pretty damn scary and good.

C'mon! Dean unknowingly fetching a ball of paper, shouting at the mailman and threatening to shoot a trash-talking pigeon was priceless!

For the record, Collins murdered Genesis with a horn section, not an axe. Rutherford and Banks were charged as accessories. All charges, however, were dropped when they included You Might Recall on Three Sides Live.

"Hey Cupid!" Bumps it up to a B+ for me.

Good point - I moved to NYC in '91 after college. This movie (and Hartley's early stuff) still resonate with me because they were able to capture the city and people at that point in time. Maybe too much nostalgia, but the city was a better place then - post-recession, still had a middle class, bit of grit still left

That was it, can't remember the season, but dean was asked by a doctor how much he drinks and he replied "Well, I have to sleep sometime, so mid-50s?"

Amazing record, still listen to it regularly. But damn you Onion for reminding me it came out 25 years ago!

Urquhart doesn't just throw her off the roof of any building, but fucking Westminster Palace! I was a little disappointed the writers of this version opted for the Metro.
