We recently went into a pet shop for the sole purpose of pricing parrots as a transition pet for once our 12 year old Yorkie passed. We finally let go of the fact that we will never have a great yard with consistent grass. Now, if we wait long enough in the season, let the mutt grass grow and keep it mowed, it looks like a green, maintained yard, if you squint.
