Did he spend the money? In any case, isn't theft of that scale something the DA should be investigating anyway to press criminal charges, whether or not they can return the money to Erlich?
The DA scene didn't make any sense. The guy who stole money from Bachmanity is a rich lawyer - how would he not have money to pay back Erlich, why would they need to take the money from somewhere else?
