Yeah, it really does add some nice features to survival games, having the Pals do so much work at the base. It took me all weekend to realize I should just build storage boxes near my stone and wood farms so I could just pick up the 2500 wood the Pals generate and place it directly in a storage box.

But can you tell which Pokemon they are? Because lots of games have things that look like Pokemon. But only Pokemon games have actual Pokemon. I haven’t seen one Pal that is a Pokemon yet. Close? yes. Clearly. But no theft.

I’m pretty hooked on it. It’s better than recent mainline Pokemon games by a mile, in my opinion. It is also much more a survival game like Ark. However, what I truly like about it is how productive the Pals can be. They aren’t just for riding and combat. They will help you craft items and harvest resources. It

The answer to the last question is yes. It is indeed a good game.

Maybe if you had expressed that in your first post, instead of  conveniently saving it to use as a defense against criticism of said post, you would have gotten your point across better. Now it just seems like you are playing gotcha.

It’s lasted longer than I expected. I was wrong about its popularity. Great to see it thriving.

I do find Souls games frustrating, for the most part. But definitely see the appeal. Just can’t play them for long before I get too frustrated. I got trapped by one of those wheeled wardrobe nightmares at the bottom of some stygian pit I probably shouldn’t have been in and teleported to some other nether realm that I

Spot on.

Last time I had a Chicago Dog from Wienerschnitzel it came on a poppy seed bun, I swear. That was about 14 years ago, in Corpus Christi TX, so maybe things have changed.

Starfield is my personal game of the year, but I struggle to see it’s gameplay as innovative in any way. I mean, the NG+ twist is cool, but I’d call it a stretch to say it is innovative.

People went to school and spent their lives training to make fucking shoes, too. Guess what, didn’t stop the machines. It’s inevitable. It’s cheaper, it’s faster, and it is more accessible.

Great list. I don’t agree with all of the choices, but the list just reminds you what a great year for rpgs it has been. I picked up Cyberpunk along with Alan Wake 2 and Baldur’s Gate 3 this Christmas, thanks to the Playstation sale. Don’t have the expansion, but I’ve put more hours into Cyberpunk so far. That’s not

So it’s just Breath of the Wild, with tacked on gameplay, which changes every aspect of playing the game. Oh, and it has a whole bunch of new areas up in the sky, oh and a whole other world, the underworld, that is as big as the main map. It has a deeper story than breath of the wild. The construction aspect is pretty

I think it is a solid list. I’d replace Diablo IV with Starfield. I did not like Diablo 4. It just seemed dull and pointedly about the grind. Top 3 is solid, based on reputation. I only played Tears of the Kingdom, but Baldur’s Gate 3 is up next, and also maybe Alan Wake 2.

Freedom Tacos.

I’ll buy one as long as it has an optical drive. My PS5's drive won’t read discs any more. Except for the cleaning disc I ordered in desperation. Plays that one fine.

Focusing on one planet, a fantasy setting no less, and making the planet Earth size, yeah, sign me up. Mountains, Oceans, continents. Yeah. Different environments and biomes. Procedural areas to explore that aren’t a single prefab, but constructed of prefabs, so procedural dungeons, that would be nice.

Oh yeah, it will definitely upset some people if it is 30 FPS only. I’ll be more than happy if they do manage 60 fps. But I’m ok with 30 FPS in games these days. As long as I don’t play a 60 FPS game first, then switch to a 30 FPS game.

Yeah, so the launch platforms did not support 30 FPS. And GTA V launched on the PS3 Xbox 360. PS4/Xbox one did not support 60 FPS for GTA V. So yes, PS5/Series S can run it at 60 FPS, from a code base that launched on the PS3/Xbox 360 and is 2.5 console generations old. Hopefully RDR 2 will get a 60 FPS update on

Because they released GTA 5 with 60 FPS? And Red Dead Redemption 2, or Red Dead Redemption?
