I find the finale of Book of Mormon incredibly uplifting. Arnold Cunningham's ability to distill and translate the heart of the insular, US-centric Mormon teachings to the people of the Ugandan village (through similarly culturally incongruous pop-culture references, no less) reminds me of the Buddhist analogy of the

Not hot enough. Not nearly as hot as his daughter.

That Heidi is so smart and so funny, though.

The film adaption of Forrest Gump reminds me of the film adaption of William Steig's Shrek, in that the hero became much more cuddly and lovable than in the original and the non-event of a love story was pushed to the forefront. In doing so, the tone of the originals are somewhat lost, but the film versions are still

That's my last name through marriage. I never legally changed it for obvious reasons.

Totally anecdotal and mostly irrelevant, but in college, I worked at a semi-upscale Italian restaurant. Over the course of season four, Nate became totally unmoored, grappling with what happened to Lisa and what - however

Your hair was in the toilet. Disgusting!

That little hotel still stuck to Tony's face minutes after the brawl is such a great sight gag. I laugh every time

Especially loved how Meadow would roll her eyes at Carmela for being dependent on Tony's money, while using Carm's Tony-paid-for credit card to treat Carm and herself to a Mother's Day spa trip.

SFU never gets mentioned in the same breath as the other great cable dramas and I think that's so wrong. Despite delving into too much melodrama in the fourth season (Lisa's death should have remained unsolved - the creepy niece dropping hints and then the brother-in-laws confession and immediate suicide were just

I agree that The Sopranos routinely got great performances from even the lesser actors in the cast. For example, the woman who played Ginny Sac worked in a department store and had no acting experience before she answered the casting call and was really fantastic in that role.
