People that tint their lights don’t care about the reflectors or even know that they are there and serve a purpose. They tint their lights under the assumption that the active lighting is still bright enough to be somewhat seen.

Saw some idiot tweeting that he’s from Tempe, AZ where is it hot and dry subject to more frequent lightning, and they don’t get these kind of fires where he lives so it must be due to bad land management. The internet wasted no time reminding him he was stupid, he lives in a desert, and you can’t get forest fires…
