Right? It was overcast today and I couldn't turn on the lights in my living room. Gaming was the least of my worries.

Yeah, sorry, I should have made that clear, but I guess I just figured as an American expat Bash would automatically compare Japanese and American Kit-Kats.
Have you tried them in the US?
I’ve heard Kit-Kats taste better in Japan- true? I remember liking Kit-Kats when I was younger, but I tried one out of our Halloween leftovers and it was pretty gross. It was sickeningly sweet, and didn't taste at all like chocolate.
I guess, if you have the bandwidth to actually push 144 fps (I don't), if you're even running your PC at 144 fps in the first place (with an RTX 2080 I usually target 4K @ 60 fps).
The Snapdragon can run games at up to 144 FPS, while the Steam Deck runs AAA games at 60 FPS on medium settings.
The original Tron is pretty boring today. Legacy was pretty good, though, and the Uprising cartoon was fantastic.
As a kid I loved the Beetlejuice cartoon, so I watched the movie the first time it came on TV and I kind of hated it.
I’ve been a fan of Forza since the original... it was like a more accessible Gran Turismo. And the first Horizon... that soundtrack *chef’s kiss*. Both the mainline Forzas and the Horizon series have been steadily improving, but they’ve always been great fun.
I want so badly for Gundam to be good. But I’ve seen G-Saviour...
I definitely get that Persona is more popular than SMT proper; I think that was the case long before P5. But “Persona without the heart” still seems like a pretty ignorant comparison, along the lines of saying “Advent Children is like Final Fantasy VII but with worse gameplay.” Heart is at the very core of Persona, as…
Hey, I am NOT stupid. Lazy, definitely, insane, quite possibly, but not stupid.
It’s not officially on sale until 8:00pm Pacific.
Maybe I'm in the minority, but I'm a Switch owner with zero interest in Animal Crossing. So for me it's $20 for over 100 NES and SNES games, and more than double for a piddling handful of N64 and Genesis games. Hard pass.
You had a good month! I haven’t been hunting for a graphics card since I’m still good with a 2080, but after landing a PS5 at Target I got an Xbox Series S at Target. And that was after I’d already got a Series X; I wanted to play Xbox in both the living room and upstairs and I’m too lazy the physically move the Xbox,…
I’ll second the vote for Kingdom. Let me tell you, K-dramas aren’t really my thing, and I think zombies are totally played out. But somehow Kingdom managed to keep things fresh, and I wound up binging both seasons.
For those looking, I think Target’s probably your best bet. Last I checked they don’t do order online, ship to your house, just order online pickup in store. That helps keep bots from snatching them all up and limits your competition just to people in the same local area. You just have to get up early, because the…
By sheerest coincidence I’d just got to Kraid. No trouble with the first part of the fight, but he quickly kicked my ass when we got the to second part. I had to take a break, saw this article, and then when I got back to the game I figured that it couldn’t be harder to do the sequence break than to actually fight…
Yeah, FE Warriors is one of the better ones. They should do a sequel.
Can’t speak for consoles, but there’s an FOV slider in the PC version.
