I’m in the market for a new monitor, and in my price range I can have a higher resolution or a higher refresh rate, not both. Right now I’d rather have a 27" 4K IPS at 60Hz than a 27" 1080p IPS at 144-240Hz, let alone whatever 360Hz will cost.  Probably going to pick up an LG 27UK850-W.

Well, to be totally fair to the Kotaku staff, some of the games on their list are probably really great, but I don’t like battle royale games and most strategy games, and that’s 3 out of their 10. And some of the other games on their list, like Control and Sekiro, are games that didn’t make my cut simply because I

Interesting. Not a one of these games make my personal top 10. I guess I have very different tastes from the Kotaku staff.

Extended battery life isn’t reason enough. A hole isn’t reason enough. But together that seems like enough reason.

*looks fondly at his own Strat* You have good taste in guitars.

I got the Showa-era Godzilla Criterion boxset on Blu-ray. I had to order it for myself, and my wife didn’t even bother to wrap it, but I’m still happy.

Siege is great. I mean, between poor distribution and figures getting smaller and more hollow I actually swore off buying official Transformers, but I decided I’d at least check out Siege Optimus and Megatron. Fast forward to today and I’ve bought everything but a few Generations Selects repaints.

I’d say yes to everything on this list except Solo; to date it’s the only Star Wars movie I’ve seen that had me checking my watch in the theater to see if it was almost over. I think the idea of Han and Chewie flying around and having adventures before Episode IV would make for good TV, but as a movie it was two hours

Oh man, I love Serenity. Quick correction, though. It stars Nathan Fillion, not Matthew McConaughey.

I missed quite a few games on this list- I only played four of them. But I’m going to assume your list is 100% correct, because two of the games I played (Bioshock 2 and Dragon Age II) are definitely a lot better than they are given credit for. And the other two (Alpha Protocol and Sleeping Dogs) are excellent games

I got the second one for free when I bought a video card. I liked it... for awhile. I was ready for the game to be over long before the end credits, and I had zero motivation to play a different character after. I picked up the Pre-Sequel on a Steam same and was super bored with it, so Borderlands 3 wasn't even on my

Thanks. I didn't play Borderlands 3, so that's probably why I didn't get it.

Can someone explain Corpse Run to me? I don't know what the reference is supposed to be.

I have IBS, too, and like yourself I’ve been unable to find specific triggers. I could literally eat the same meal every day for a week and be fine some days and sick on others.

I bought one of these cheapy portable emulator things awhile back, mostly to play GBA games, and I wasn’t thrilled with it.  I wound up picking up a GPD XD.  At $200 that’s not an impulse buy, but since it runs Android it was a lot easier to get good emulators running on it.

This article reminds me of a friend, who bought a big SUV before his second kid was born, traded it in within a year for the bigger model, then traded that in after a year for a Civic because he realized he didn’t need all that space and his wife was scared to drive a big SUV. I can’t imagine how much he actually

I don’t know if I’m doing it right or not, but I rinse out any glass or plastic jars by filling them about halfway with water, putting the lid back on, then giving it a good shaking.  I don’t usually rinse beverage cans or bottles.  I toss all the jars, cans, and bottles into a bin.  I don’t put cardboard or paper

When I first heard about this being a musou game I thought it’d be a musou-like game, like Sengoku Basara, and I was already interested. Now I see that Omega Force is actually working on it and I want to preorder it.

I’ve never heard of AEW; I guess because they just got started this year?  Well, if the create-a-wrestler is as deep and the gameplay the same grapple-based type used in the ol’ WCW vs nWO/Wrestlemania 2000/No Mercy then count me in.  I need that stuff way more than I need WWE superstars.

While I’d love to see it on the Switch the Shield’s running Android, has Chromecast software built-in, and while I'm not totally sure what the technical differences between the Shield and the Chromecast Ultra the Shield can output 4K video. Stadia could be a boost for Android TV and it just send to me like the Shield
