Ok, I’m 100% buying the collection. But this upcoming Seiken Densetsu 3 remake... was that announced by Nintendo, or Squeenix? Because it would be kind of weird if that comes out on the Switch but the Secret of Mana remake didn't.

Couple of thoughts (and no, I haven’t seen it yet)...

I loved Persona 3 and 4, so I picked up Persona 5, but I had a lot going on at the time and I didn’t get super far. I didn’t even recruit all the characters. Instead of going back to it I planned to wait for The Royal. Still have Q2 pre-ordered, though. Should I wait to play it until after I play some version of P5?

Between the animated Godzilla trilogy on Netflix and the new Legendary film’s imminent release I got a bug up my butt to watch some older Godzilla.  I wound up buying all the Heisei and Millennium films plus Shin Godzilla (except Godzilla vs Biollante, which is hard to find on Blu-ray).  Since I was enjoying them so…

I love my Switch, but with The Royal just sounded I actually wasn’t keen on buying a lesser version of Persona 5 just to play it on the go (I’d rather have a Switch port of P4 Golden). I’m actually glad this is something different, and as a Warriors/Musou fan I’m super into this.

Persona 5 came out a little before I went abroad for three weeks. I was away long enough that I kind of needed to start over but far enough along that I didn’t really want to. I’d been thinking more recently that I might be ready to tackle it again, but it sounds like I might as well sell my copy and buy this instead.

As a Penguins fan, I’m glad the Bolts got swept, too. That way I can be like, “Yeah, we got swept... but we limped into the playoffs and got swept by a higher-seeded team. It’s not like we were the President’s Trophy winners and heavy Cup favorites and got swept by a wild card team or anything.”
