Let me know when you move out of your parents basement, I'll strongly consider hiring you.

That certainly applies to the smart fortwo...that much I admit.
You guys never cease to amaze me in your hate...seriously. At the very least your consistent so I'll give you credit for that, but admittedly as a marketer, some of these were actually really good for brands. Swagger, Inspires, Dumb...they all had value on some level for each of their brands and extended far beyond…
Not being a massive F1 fan until very recently, how was it possible that someone with enough cash could buy a seat in an actual race? I could never imaging Marussia taking $$$'s from a doctor that wanted to race in an F1 weekend and giving him/her the seat...or is that still possible today?
That is exactly right. I've read a few books on auto brands doing business in China (the best one was American Wheels, Chinese Roads) and it's a scary, but potentially profitable place to operate. These rip-offs aren't illegal in China but they're designed to do exactly what you mentioned...help negotiate a deal.
I get that, and it's a valid point, but this is a weak effort in my book - mildly entertaining at best.
Isn't part of the spectacle of F1 the sound? Having been to a few races, back when they had V12's, V10's and V8's I sure think so. They sound horrible on TV and even more horrible on this video, big miss by the FIA in my view.
Phalic device...but why?
Sweet mother of God.
The Chrysler ME412 that was launched at the 2004 NAIAS.
Amazing skill behind the wheel. This show has officially replaced my love of Top Gear.
This is so damn epic. Honestly, I never watch WRC, but the talent behind the wheel is clearly unparalleled. I would say WRC drivers are better, all around drivers than F1. Different, but better.
Performance, yes. Tech, plenty. Doesn't sound great though. For that kind of scratch it deserves better.
A move reminiscent of Ferrari when they launched the California. Create a new model (California/Macan) that assumes the price point of an existing vehicle in their lineup (F430/Cayenne), then jack the price up of that model.
Can anyone tell me what the FIA sticker was for at 1:41?
Am I the only one that thinks 40k GBP (About $60k) is acceptable for this level of performance and exclusivity?
Audi did a version of this a few years ago. So not only does Hyundai (Innocean) poke fun at a horrible topic, they didn't even have the creativity to make it different.
I can't help but shed a tear when I look at that Fisker...fucking gorgeous car. What a shame. If they don't get bought by the Chinese, what's the likely scenario? Is any other brand interested in buying them?
Did the SL pip the V8 Supercar at the line? Looks that way to me.
This count?
