Counterpoint: There is no better snack food than chocolate milk.

I am that crying baby today. I'm exhausted, PMSing, depressed because I just turned 30 on Monday and feel like I'm a failure at life for no reason, work is taking advantage of me again. I called my mom sobbing and she was basically the older brother in this video all, "Have you slept? Honey, you need to sleep."

Childhood is insisting you are too grown up for a nap. Adulthood is wishing desperately that you could squeeze in a nap.

Uncle Jed?

Those people already have their heads up their asses. Life or its absence on Europa won't change that. And water consists of some of the most common elements in the universe. There's even a gigantic cloud of it floating freely away from any planets hundreds of lightyears away from here.

yeah, you're probably right. I'm just glad I didn't have to live without video games and the internet like the billions of people before me. I'm pretty lucky.

I guess they could have mermaids there. Probably bio-luminescent mermaids, which would be really cool.

Odds are very good there's already been contamination between the two worlds via panspermia. The life there, if any, might even be related to life on Earth.

I bet we'd all still be saying that had we been born a few centuries later.

on the other hand, if there was no life on europa, wouldn't it be fascinating to try and seed it with microbial life? just to see what would happen?

It would be seriously in our own interest to ensure that whatever probes we send to Europa are completely clean. You don't want to invest the time and money in sending a probe out there if your results are just going to be contaminated by some engineer's effluvia.

Yep. But this time we do it with cool space ships.

Couldn't we just use all that ice on Europa to help cool things down more quickly? It would either have to be that or make a whole bunch of margaritas to help pass the time.

Me too.

All the more reason why the aliens would say, "Screw your pee filled Earth water! We're goin' to Europa!"

meee to.

awesome. I just hope this stuff happens in my lifetime. Sometimes I think I was born a few centuries too early
