If you accept any federal funds, which include federal financial aid, you have to follow DoE rules. This is a little different. It’s...sort of non-binding in my understanding. DoE regularly issues “guidance” on all kinds of things that don’t or simply haven’t yet become regulations. Schools are supposed to try to…
And anyone against universal background checks shouldn’t have one, either.
Oh, I get it now! Sorry for being dense.
Great but terrible minds think alike? ;)
If you’re talking about fairly recent comments, that’s often TomatoFace, our resident troll. “I don’t believe in borders” has become TF’s refrain on immigration articles. TF abandoned the tomato theme. It makes the person harder to spot and frankly more irritating. It used to be a game.
This is very important! Thank you.
The commission isn’t supposed to solve the immigration issue. It’s supposed to figure out the logistics for shutting down a huge federal agency and reigning in horrible practices so they don’t get reincarnated. You can’t just do that without some kind of transition plan.
We already have a commission that reviews and evaluated solutions to policy problems. It’s called Congress.
Yes, he’s wrong. His only “evidence” of a Democrat wanting “open borders” is a claim that Cynthia Nixon wants to give undocumented people access to drivers’ licenses so they can evade federal authorities, when what she wants is to reduce citations and arrests for driving without a license. That can get you deported.
“I always do my best to treat people, including those I disagree with, respectfully and will continue to do so,” she wrote on Twitter.
I’m envisioning it etched into metal in a fancy script to tie the utilitarian and elegant aesthetics together.
Thanks! I was picturing hook and eye closures. “Only those who can unhook a bra one handed with their eyes closed are worthy of my security detail...”
They’re cargo pants plus carpenter pants. Did you miss the note about the loops??
It’s even weirder. It's last season and cost $39.99 when it was available.
She’s a hipster.
