I still use it's slightly newer brother a TC4400 as a main laptop. For what it is, and how small it is, you can't beat buying one on ebay for $300 in 2009 and it still working today.

Check out logmein free again. It allows unlimited installs, and while I have not tried to install it on 40 machines, I have it on 8 PCs (6 are Server 2008, 2 are Win7) and can stay connected to one of them at a time for at least a few hours. I have left it open for 8 hours without anything but a "you are idle, would…
I have one of these, though it is close to 10 years old. No broken cover, though it sits next to a window so it is turning yellow. I think that is how you know when to throw away old surge protectors, when they turn yellow. :)
Love the History page, gives me a list of pages on my other devices.

I like this one, it is $300+ but after an incident of "he said, she said" and me barely winning, I wanted something with good quality. The Wifi is ok, very short distance (15ft tops) but it is nice to use to pull the video footage with your phone if you need to. Mine is mounted between the two seats (2 seater) so you…
My latest one is so far going ok, though only getting ~8 days of charge. I'll take that over what the others did.
Yes, have been doing this for years. Thumbdrive has non-personal/non-critical data and an encrypted container using portable Truecrypt has the sensitive data in it. I have that copied to a folder on the laptop. I mount the container ad a drive and then I run everything from the folder/mounted drive, then use a syncing…
Some vehicles come with a smaller spare tire. Those vehicles will normally not have the space for a full sized spare. Smaller cars are like that. And with sporty cars, it is common to have to keep a full sized tire on the drive wheels due to the limited slip diff.
Have either of you had to replace yours yet? I am on my 4th UP since January. The batteries keep failing. Drops to a few days, then won't stay charged overnight, then won't charge at all. Not getting it wet, ever. only using it as intended.
Posting this to the main part of the thread instead of a reply of a reply.
Ya, same here. They are not for everyone, and usually take up more time being setup correctly than worth it.
This has been done for years (that post is 6 years old)
I'm not sure where you got the idea that the "Great Recession" was the first time California was in need of a revenue generating law. :)
I am going to take a guess here, but I believe what he is trying to say is that the S2000 isn't a straight line car. It is a twist and turn car. Anyone who thinks otherwise is a fool. It is kinda fast, but there are so many cars that can beat it (straight line) with ease it is funny. Where it excels is in the turns.…
While I do not have the 32gb version, I do have the 64gb version of this drive. The first was DOA, the second failed in less than 6 months, the third is currently in use. The first 2 were from NewEgg, the third was an RMA via sandisk directly. Hopefully the third time is a charm. I like it a lot, I use it as a…
There was a comedian in the late 80's early 90's who had a Pontiac joke. Something about the jingle they used, "We build excitement." and the Fiero catching fire. I am sure you could possibly piece together the joke. I wish I remembered the name of the comedian though. Would like to give credit.
A girl in High School had a Beretta with those damned belts. She was driving home one day and hit a chuck hole or something. The door came off the car. (it was less that 2 years old, but I think it was a salvage title or been totaled and bought without being salvaged. It was definitely a shitty car with many other…
