It'd be fun, but I'm betting on Paperman.

But they do. Whether or not you liked DKR (I did, and didn't think it was shit), it certainly deserves note for its technical merit, but still gets zero noms, two less than Snow White and the Huntsman.

I definitely sense a hint of sexism in the "Leni Riefenstahl" attacks she's been getting. I mean, the Dark Knight movies inspired similar political debates, but nobody hurdled that name towards Nolan.

Disney stupidly waited too long to release Arrietty; it would have been eligible for last year's Oscars had they the brains to give it a small run in December before its wide release in February but they didn't, and it's ineligible this year. They better not mess up the releases of the next two Ghibli films (which

I'm betting it wins Editing and Actress but praying that Django manages to win Original Screenplay, to make up for Hurt Locker stealing what rightfully should have been Basterds' reward.

Hathaway seems the obvious choice for Best Supporting Actress, and she both should win and will win.

Everyone keeps asking the official Toonami tumblr where the hell is Moltar. We haven't gotten an answer.

There has been new Brak and Zorak material on Cartoon Planet, at least.

Animated Axe Cop is bound to be amazing. Everything else on the block could suck and that would make this experiment worthwhile.

I don't know if subbing Lady's dialogue could get past the censors most of the time (from the translations, she seems to like to talk a lot about nudity, intimacy, and complaining about Jake's "weak noodle").

Not just punched, tied her into a knot. I'm amazed the other pups turned out OK.

I'm guessing Jake Jr. got hurt in the womb when Lady got tied up in a knot.

The only Haneke I've seen was The White Ribbon, which I was very impressed by. Not so sure how much of his stuff I could take, though.

From what I've read, Pullman found the books to be racist and sexist (which to be fair could be said about many older books, but combined with the religiosity and especially with his issues with the message of the children's fate in The Last Battle, probably set off his critique).

I'd be in favor of an animated miniseries to cut down on effects budgets.

They're campaigning for Cinematography, Costume Design, and Original Score.

I think some of it's the format. Most of the episodes have been pretty enjoyable (the first one and its clever sci-fi twist at the end, the Emotion Lord storyline) and not overly edgy, but the 6 minute format makes it too hyper for its own good. Give it 11 minutes like Adventure Time and it could be something great.

Correction: I'm a well-socialized 19-year-old occasional cosplayer. No need for shots.

No.
