If he's still on his "oppressed groups fight oppressors" kick, I'd love to see him do a gay movie. A musical perhaps (he's got great taste for soundtracks and it's one of the only genres he hasn't done a full-out homage to)? Or maybe something with Native Americans, which I'm sure he'd bring an interesting perspective

I don't every trust Tarantino to make any of the spin-offs he talks about. Otherwise The Vega Brothers would exist and Kill Bill 3 would have happened by now.

There's tons of people who like it. But certainly not more than who like the other shows. Even if My Little Pony's hardcore fandom made it win, it shouldn't be winning by that large of a margin.
