My mom was. Also Hermes from Futurama.

Paranorman's actually a very good horror movie. Not the most fucked up, but it has some genuine scary moments that I imagine must be really intense for kids.

He seems genuinely excited about the Popeye film he's directing, which he says is going to be totally wild and cartoony despite being CGI.

Avatar was a technical breakthrough and thus viewed at the time as an important film, even if it was a rather silly one. Avengers has no real claim to importance of that sort. I'm guessing a more relevant comparison would be Cameron's pre-Titanic movies. Realistically, beyond the expected effects/sound nominations, I

I'd say absolutely if not for the fact she's also in Les Mis and they'll probably nominate her for that instead.

Beasts of the Southern Wild. Easily deserves nominations for Picture, Adapted Screenplay, Supporting Actor, Actress (if they feel right nominating a six-year-old), Score, depending on the competition it could also be in play for Cinematography and Director.

I was kind of disappointed we didn't get to see Martha at UNIT in this ep. Would have been a good opportunity to check in on one of the few companions who had a decent life after the Doctor.

@avclub-7ce349af6304e005a3e4e7864c1858dc:disqus : I went this past summer and we were allowed to throw and bring stuff (the theater even had bags of stuff ready to purchase for people who didn't bring anything), there was just a quick bag check. And this was the week after the Aurora incident, so I was impressed.
