Even if it was a faithful adaptation, it would still look pretty fucking stupid. I mean, special effects are good these days, but is it really worth the money to transform a normal kid into a giant rotting inside-out baby? Maybe if they decreased the scale it could be done with Cronenberg-style practical effects

Did you hate Grave because you hated how depressing it was? Or do you actually have no soul?

But did you hate Spirited Away, Cowboy Bebop, and Grave of the Fireflies? Akira's weird and not for all tastes (I personally love it), but if you hate those three then there's a very good chance you have no soul.

"There once was an ugly barnacle. He was SO UGLY, EVERYONE DIED! The end."

The best case scenario period would be if Fred Karger won. Where are his fans? Gay Jewish Republican who is to the left of Obama on most social issues. So of course he has no chance, but you gotta love him. At the very least, he's one classy troll.

Two movies, Tree of Life and Harry Potter,

Well, Ashkenazi Jews, the majority of Jews in America, are white. But there's quite a lot of Middle-Eastern Jews who would qualify as brown and would probably face the same sort of ignorant racism in America. Both religions have people of all ethnicities.

How could they miss Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire? First episode of one of the best TV shows ever was a Christmas special.

There was a 16mm screening at Bard, Hayne's alma mater. Wouldn't be shocked if it's the only print in existence, though.
