I loved Digit as a kiddo! At the time I remember thinking he was probably inspired at least a little by Christopher Lloyd, as David Goeltz seemed to kind of be doing a ‘Reverend Jim’ impression for his voice.

I almost said this movie is good.  It’s not really, but what it is is fantastically entertaining.  We need more entertaining B movies!  Give us: Night of the Creeps, The Mummy, Tremors, Evil Dead (in all its glorious incarnations), Happy Death Day.  We need more!

The Jim Henson hour was brilliant. I wish it was (officially) available somewhere.

Even if they let him back they’d probably be force by their own rules to ban him again for spreading election misinformation. I will Print to PDF the recipe I intend to use, save the PDF to my Google Drive. Then when I am cooking I do not have the problem you mention of the page reloading, the recipe being covered by pop up ads, etc.

It depends a lot on the framing text. If it’s narrative that just wraps the recipe but doesn’t add anything to it, then it’s not relevant. If it talks about what the person did to get the recipe to work out the way it does, and why, then it’s worth reading at least once so that you can see what distinguishes this

my trick for solving this page reload problem? When I get down to the recipe card portion and getting ready to cook I click the “print recipe” link which, at least on my phone opens up a new browser with just the recipe card, ready for printing... and then I just don’t click print. I’m able to use that recipe card

I definitely understand the problem you describe; I don’t need to read 15 paragraphs how you came up with your perfect beef stew recipe to feed your husband on a freezing cold day that he spent outside clearing the snow for

Yeah that is a different UI problem completely. But to your first point, if you are displeased with the content in the cooking blogs, read different cooking blogs. There is no shortage of them!

And they’re either too set in their ways or just too plain dumb to learn now I think.
