Alas though I like a lot of these people, it’s still Joss Whedon. Who can fuck right off.

I had only ever read the original plus one of the book of short stories, in which Anne makes an occasional appearance, so when I was preparing to visit PEI for the first time I read the entire series in chronological order, i.e. of Anne’s life. They do get to have a sameness, and I wasn’t interested in the hijinks of

Absolutely. I took a Classic American Lit class in college and Moby Dick was required reading. Not only that, but the professor drug the book out over the entire semester. I remember handling the required readings for the class by reading Moby Dick until I want to lobotomize myself and then switch to the other

Agree. I only read it because I was on a kick to read the classics as a teenager-early 20's nerd.

Even on the low end, Moto G had come out in the previous year. Hell, HTC One was a year old when the Fire Phone came out. I don’t know if people would’ve bought one even if it had a better hardware though when the whole phone was designed solely to help people make impulsive Amazon purchases.

I saw one at a cookout in high school but that was the one and only fourth of July event I’ve ever been to so???

Food blogs and cooking columns must be getting enough hits on these things to justify publishing them year after year.

They’re crap, but decently fun cinematic crap. Like Pirates of the Caribbean.

You, sir, are raising the game of this Kinja.

A lemon danish is very clearly soup in a bread bowl.

“Just don’t use the thing to make cake pops. It makes truly terrible cake pops.”

1) Your friend isn’t wrong, but...

Nah, middle finger for the establishment, yo!

please do this series forever it is my favorite thing

Same here.

I think this is the one I have (it was a gift so I’m not sure). Works like a charm. I’ve never needed to grease it and nothing ever sticks. Pancakes are always an even golden brown

Can confirm on the griddle making things easy. If I use anything else, the pancakes are just a write off

yes. thank you.

Put the sauce / viscous condiments on the bun, then add diced onions and shredded lettuce on top of the condiments. They serve as a glue to hold the veggies in place.
