I’m worth it.
I’m worth it.
Agreed. Personally I loathe cauliflower, but I would totally try this; after all, once you remove the offensive part (the taste) and smother it in cheese and hot sauce, what’s the harm?
I’m no film snob, but basically every movie I’ve seen in the theaters for the last few years has been for the kids (save Crazy Rich Asians and Episodes VII and VIII of Star Wars) and you’re right - even the worst of them are generally blandly entertaining, while the best (Moana) are endlessly rewatchable.
Cars 2 wasn’t terrible.
Certainly it’s worth seeing Pixar movies on a big screen.
Cars 3 is actually really good (never saw #2 - heard it was terrible) and it’s on Netflix (I have a small child and watch it at least once a week)
Newt Gingrich should have another mint. They’re wafer thin.
This made me lol out loud. At work. At 7:25 in the morning. After having only 4 hours 42 minutes of sleep. Thank you!
Are you referring to “Out Of This World”, also featuring They Might Be Giants? I was rather miffed to find that, despite the cover art, it actually did *not* include the game show theme song, but rather something called “Carmen’s Song” – which, while memorable, is not the same. Not at all surprising that the game show…
It is both of those things! I loooove the crunchy little olives and feta stuffed olives the most. Artichoke hearts are a VERY close second.
I always liked Illinoise, even though no one uses it. It would be the logical term from the French-based word. Yes, Wisconsinites is the correct term, although I’ve always liked Wisconsinians. Wisco/Sconnie is big at the UW schools now.
I think I remember the Illini from the second Lord of the Rings.
I have spent my entire life in Illinois, I have never heard Illini outside of reference to the university.
You probably get more Google hits for Illini because of college football.
Not too long ago I discovered fIb is actually a national term, always referring specifically to drivers from Illinois.
I am a proud Fucking Illinois Bastard. Cuz at least I am not from Wisconsin. :)
Thumbs up for Braeburns! Obviously I couldn’t fit every good apple on this list, but agreed they are a very nice apple.
Can’t swear to it but there was a grove of apple trees in West Des Moines, Iowa back in the 60s that grew Braeburns. FTW.
Hahahahaha!
