I realize it’s not a perfect comparison, but if we’re capable of letting the one disappear into history then I think we’re entirely capable of doing the same for the other - even if it’s for different reasons, just let stuff that’s no longer okay stay in the historical context.

I like good ol Bill. I know I shouldn’t, but he was president from ages 8 to 16 for me. I feel like life was good, probably because I was a kid and didn’t follow the news. But whenever I think of Bill, I think of my cushy little childhood and it gives me the warm fuzzies.
