I wish you all the best of luck, So you know, I was in the custody of my mother during her recovery from a severe mental illness, and I turned out pretty good. We have a really close and loving relationship.

I have heard of people on probation who go through all the steps and still can’t get out from under it. Like “okay, now you do this” and it just continues.

I saw that and people have no idea why the other five kids didn’t go to dinner with their grandfather. I mean I don’t believe each one had an emergency where they could not make it, but what if the one you were sending death threats to did?

Also, I missed the earlier articles (the original one about the Vice story and the earlier one about the godawful Vanity Fair article), and good lord, the comments are infuriating.

The Teflon attitude is typical of narcissists and sociopaths. Where most people would pause and think, they are so arrogant and think very little of everyone else...they do absolutely blatant things that are unbelievable. And then lie again. The concept of "oops" or "my bad" is not part of their makeup.

Even worse than stupid, he’s arrogant and egotistical. Even after being convicted he STILL thought he couldn’t be stopped. He’ll probably never learn.

University of Rape.

Asshole be stupid. Good for the judge. He should have paid attention to the terms of bail, which everyone knows anyway. You can’t leave. Period.

Conservatives care about potential life. Once that potential becomes reality, they do not give any fucks about it. Apparently God is against abortion, but has no opinion on the effects of systemic racism, income inequality, access to medical care, education or employment opportunities.

I love how 2nd amendment yahoos always deny that there’s a gun issue, but rather, a mental health issue but still don’t do jack shit to address mental health.

This man was a ticking time bomb, how the fuck do we protect people from disturbed people like him?

So full disclosure- I don’t fucking understand how weight works at all. I'm not a doctor like Ms. Teigs here. I know that different people have different shapes, metabolisms, and different health issues that may be effecting their weight. But in the end really, it SHOULD BE that yes, eating right and exercise will

Almost every woman I know who has had a baby, planned and unplanned, drank and even did drugs and smoked unintentionally during their first few weeks and every single one of them has healthy children who don’t have FAS. It must say something about my friend group, but I seriously can't think of a single person I know

At this point it may be easier to just refer to women who were not assaulted by Cosby

I don’t know...police believe people who report every other type of crime. Why on earth shouldn’t the believe victims. As a person who has sat through MANY rape trials, I have never had a victim who wasn’t totally credible.

Follow up yay: the public is slowly learning that the number one cause of rape is...*drum roll* RAPISTS!

C’mon, guys! There are only 50+ women who have come out. That’s not that many people. Are you really sure that Cosby is your guy? Don’t you think they’re all jealous of his success? I mean that’s what this is really about: there wasn’t enough Cosby to go around.

I never understood they way police investigate rape and sexual assault. I mean obviously you not supposed to automatically believe anyone because the job is to uncover the truth. But their ways of interviewing the alleged victim and alleged perpetrator have always been suspect. This idea of police going with their

I would like to think that the survivors of Bill Cosby (and not Bill Cosby himself, or his downfall) are a catalyst for the changing view of those report their rape. But I will take what I can get!

Yay cops are being trained to treat rape victims/survivors as human beings!
