The weirdest thing with Clerks II was how Randal books a donkey show and they’re all ready for a donkey to fuck a woman but it turns out the donkey is going to get fucked by a man. And that’s fuckin GAY! GROSS!

does she know tv isn’t real and everyone is pretending
the clip where he mocked AV Club comments with a slide whistle was so funny, and the comments on the inevitable AV Club article about it were even funnier - almost no one was able to laugh at themselves
I dunno if this it nit picky but the prostitute characters seemed pretty dated. Probably could have gone without that subplot entirely because this was a stunner otherwise.
I feel like I normally notice sound issues but nothing really stood out to me about Byrne’s mix. Bands on SNL always sound a little flat and lifeless and there was no exception here but I could hear every instrument pretty well. They toured on this show for a year and spent last year in Boston and on Broadway doing…
This is a terrible take. Byrne was great. I saw the show on tour and it was a blast. the SNL stage is a little small for what they’re trying to do, and the sound is never great there, but I thought it was one of the best performances since Prince.
You’d have to ask the guys on the podcast
“Pete Davidson is like a Mac Miller who can’t rap and is too stupid to kill himself” - Episode 1
I still have my 5 year old Roku 3 on my bedroom TV and it still runs really well, gets the latest versions of all the apps, latest updates, etc. The only reason I’d replace would be if I had a 4K television that needed it ... but I have the TCL 4k with Roku built in.

that seems fairly generous.

If thieves manage to max out my credit card and it takes a couple weeks for the bank to cancel everything and issue me a new card, I’m suffering a minor inconvenience.
I completely disagree. It’s a dig at centrist libs who make statements like “Donald Trump is the most racist president in history” or “I miss George W Bush.” Trump is racist obviously, and a terrible president, but he doesn’t own slaves and he hasn’t started an endless war responsible for millions of civilian deaths…

You just gotta listen to 10-15 eps of Hollywood handbook and it will all start to click.
I love Cum Town but I don’t think it belongs on this list tbh. Rogan probably does, though.
I love Chapo but I’m not sure you can say they actively shifted American politics. Perhaps they have been a contributing factor for certain demographics, they certainly were for me. But I think Bernie Sanders is probably the biggest factor in younger generations embracing socialist ideals.
From that list I only like Chapo, but you’re right that a few of those should have been included. And frankly if it’s just one, it should probably be Rogan, even though I have no interest in his show.
Your description really only fits Rogan’s podcast (besides the ‘none of them are brilliant orators’ part). Cum Town doesn’t tackle anything with any degree of seriousness and Chapo doesn’t play the “just asking questions” card at all - the hosts all have very well defined political points of view and agendas. No…
Agreed. At least Pod Save America didn’t make the list though
