I haven’t seen Interstellar yet. I want to, but I’m afraid. I’ve never seen a Christopher Nolan movie that wouldn’t have been 100% better if they left 40 minutes of it on the editing room floor. Or, to put it another way, a Christopher Nolan movie is 100 minutes of brilliant film making in a 135 minute package.
I know the feeling. That’s how I found Ender’s Game one night. It’s a completely different kind of movie from Europa Report, but I really enjoyed the heck out of it. It was like ‘disengage brain for 2 hours and enjoy eye candy’
Yea, that’s what I was thinking. There were no beautiful spaceship sets that are all show and no function. But they also had to make it visually interesting to look at. And they achieved both goals.
Very very cool. Where you have water, you have the possibility of life.
A hat on every cat! A crown upon every hound. So shall it be. For ever and ever amen.
Amen, brother (atheist)!
i managed to throw up once on a lethal combo of alcohol and weed within my first 4 months of college
You know, his father is right. We do need to have a discussion about alcohol and campus culture.
My apologies, You certainly got a point, my anger got the best of me...
No, they're men. Bad men, disgusting men but they are men. I hate this this person is not a real man trope.
Came to say the same thing. I am amazed at how many have high school and even college degrees and yet have no grasp on simple, basic science and engineering.
haha maybe, that could be an understatement! But this is kind of a commercial, just a good one.
Yeah but Johnny Depp is going to court and Trump probably said something racist so goooood luck with that.
The people who really should read this, won’t.
thumbs up for doing better :)
I love this movie. Seriously, I mean I love this movie. I had a bootleg of the film since it kept getting delayed for release here and it had come out in Germany or something on DVD already and I still eagerly awaited it hitting the theatre. I must have watched it a dozen times before we finally got it and then I…
Absolutely. She, and the filmmakers, do a good job of not cheapening it for lurid thrills, though. Rapace also goes through some terrible things in Daisy Diamond, too. For my money, she’s a hell of an actress.
In the original Scandinavian Milleniums she play her role absolutely perfect (in my book) the rest of the actors are not bad either, subdued and precise... :)
Oh, yes. They are frequent rewatches, though there are some hard parts to get through. I, personally, find her to be infinitely superior in the role to Rooney Mara.
