Sense8 manages it, but that's the only place I've ever seen it. Otherwise, nope.

I kept my last name, my daughter has my last name, too. If we had a son, he would have had his father’s last name. Fair’s fair.
I always thought this moment exploding for her might have had more to do with her being very young, healthy, and beautiful and wearing a bathing suit that matched her skin tone in a more conservative time, not so much her hairstyle.
“Krome, though, recalls Jett and Cherie Currie nearby and “snickering” during the attack, and Cherkis reports that it appears to have become a running joke with the other band members (who were, let’s remember, young girls themselves):”
Can we talk about the unnecessary double rape scenes in a single episode? I mean I get that they were giving backstory, but that was not okay- it didn’t need to be shown that graphically, twice within 30 minutes. That was horrible.
ARTAX!!!
Brooke, too.
Oh god, seriously? SOLD.
Totally in agreement with your statements here- really good commentary. In this situation, though, I'm questioning the applicability; I could easily see how the nephew stopping this rape- in- progress could turn into a very nasty beating if the uncle fought back much. We weren't there, and don't know- totally…
Jesus. That's an upsetting thought, actually; after a beating like that, why was he coming back? I can't imagine it was for anything good, right? So glad the nephew had called the cops and they were already on site.
I want to see Paul Giamatti play this role.
This makes me really angry because this would be a pretty cool way to do Christmas as a family, actually- if you'd always done it that way, from the beginning. Maybe only handmade gifts between immediate family, store gifts from grandparents & friends, acts of service & gifts for others with the kids to teach…
Ranch dressing on anything is vomit- inducing, though.
Possibly comparing pedophilia to a preference for beastiality could work? I'm not sure what you'd be proving at that point, but they seem more alike than anything else. It's an abnormal/ aberrant orientation, that's all.
That's how I read this, too.
I don't know... I kind of love that old lady based on your friend's stories, honestly. She sounds pretty badass.
"In the meantime, I've got to figure out which non-Hellman's brand of mayo to buy."
I wonder this A LOT. I've had an offer from my doctor to correct a nasty scar (a cut across my entire upper thigh, I was stitched up pretty shoddily by in ER intern and it healed pretty ugly), but I keep thinking about how bizarre it would be to suddenly not have that scar after 10+ years.
Suggestion for an upcoming Jez article: let's start a WH petition for such?
Damn. That sounds... perfect, actually.
