That’s just over $16k in today’s money. My wife has a new car but I still drive an extra cab Nissan Hardbody. For sub 20k, I’d buy a compact truck in a heartbeat

That’s a weird-looking Chrysler 300...
It was a go-kart with a top.
Wait, I thought this was a truck to you all:
Most cars can refill the tank is five minutes.
I get single digit MPG numbers when towing my boat. So....range comparison when loaded is probably moot.
Are the range numbers estimates going to be accurate if this truck is loaded
It may seem like the wrong audience for trucks in general, but it probably is ok for the actual audience that will buy them. truck buyers are very loyal to brand, and probably more loyal to V8/Gas engine. I suspect that the typical truck buyer might be swayed to get in the electric market when their brand releases an…
Couldn’t agree more. They’re focused on the aspects in which electric excels; sadly it’s really no different than a fat Tesla. For 60k plus luxury truck I’d but a topline ram or a grand Cherokee not a land rover porche or raptor. I understand why they are benchmarking the luxury brands to justify the price point. But…
I hear there’s a Jalopnik contributor at COTA this weekend too.
The 996 Turbo/GT2, and particularly the two Ruf cars, look really good. Especially in person. Sure the ‘98 C2s with friend egg lights aren’t the most popular 911s by looks, but by 2002, they had really come a long way. I suspect that if the 996 had “turbo” lights from the getgo to differentiate from the Boxster, they…

Perhaps there’s a David Lee we’ve never seen and I’m wrong. The cars seem to be nothing…
GREAT post, that was. I’d no idea the factory put so much effort into entry level Neon race car programs - cool!
This is the wisest post on this site by far
The way it autorotated the ring when you push it up is too awesome.
