Santos III can wheel a car. It would be great seeing what he does in the 36 car. Vigliarolo is no spring chicken, 55 if I’m not mistaken, but he does have several wins at Riverhead.
I can’t give this comment enough stars. I’ve been attending modified races for more than 45 years. Sometimes at 3 different tracks during a weekend. The Whelen Tour Modifieds and the Valenti Modified Racing Series are a great show. Your local track may have IMCA mods, SK or Sunoco mods. They’re great fun to watch, so…
I’d be afraid to sit in it........ it would need constant detailing keep it this gorgeous. A little dust and a couple fingerprints would just ruin it.

I preferred taking the back roads whenever possible. Especially the dirt roads. It was a very flickable car with a taut suspension and a quick ratio rack. Much more fun to drive hard than my Fiero Formula.

Most magazines rated them very high at the time. I remember one particular magazine comparing them to the BMW and commenting that if they had the roundel logo, they could sell for twice their price.
