As a long time truck owner, my first at age 15 and my current at age 50 something, I have a truck to do towing & hauling. Dirt bikes filled the bed on hundreds of weekends, trailers have been towed tens of thousands of miles, and countless trips have been made to the home improvement stores. I daily drive my truck,

The proper size hump.

Diesel powered 4th generation Outbacks had a hood scoop.

I really hope you don’t believe that this remark represents the majority of truck buyers.

Possibly the least appealing Speedster to date.

These guys approve.

Maybe most days, but at some point the they hook up to the boat/travel trailer/ toy box etc.

As it is been frequently pointed out, how quickly will you be able to recharge vs. a quick fill up of gas/diesel/propane/hydrogen powered truck.

I’m almost certain that the guy with the expensive 1/2 ton wants to drag around his big boat or travel trailer.

The Limited would have been better.

Workhorse makes electric delivery vans and a plug-in pickup with a range extender gasoline engine. I’m not sure what the availability is, but it has very limited electric range.

What I’m saying, is that the numbers will be far lower than advertised. My F-150 towing 6000 lbs will drop nearly 50% in fuel economy on the interstate. Towing the same up a steep grade takes another 25%.  So, maybe 70 - 100 miles range for the task I mention.

I’m doubting it off road capabilities too.  It certainly seems more toy than rugged.  My guess is that the Honda Ridgeline will much more capable.

But, as ridiculous as that may be, a $70k 2019 Ford F-150 Limited luxo truck can still tow 7000 lbs. With 450 hp, it’s pretty quick too.

Why are they aiming for all the wrong targets?

Long and low.........  and get your mind out of the gutter right now

If that were so, then they should have made this Toronado wagon too.
