I am a big fan of AHS and have watched it since when the pilot first aired. This episode (and season so far) is boring. The use of the recreated drama and show within a show was clever but everything else seem half hearted and uninspired. This episodes only saving grace was the shout out to the latest contribution of

Documentary Now! is one of the top 5 comedies on tv. The way its made also enables DN! to be on network prime time television without changing or affecting anything. Too bad, i wish more people can experience Documentary Now!, then maybe win some Emmys (Veep is awesome but Documentary Now! is better).

Is this their way of coming out of the closet? The first 10 seasons of South Park certainly showed how amazing they are at stirring shit up and watching people go nuts. At least they are equal opportunity trolls who are not above making fun of themselves while providing suggestions for solutions.

Amen. I wish trolling could somehow substitute muder in a psychopath's diet.

Matt and Stone just put a light to something, deep inside, everybody knows but nobody wants to talk about. Some of us are just assholes. Some people just want to watch the world burn. Its a scary thought, because there is no reasoning or rehabilitating these people. They know 100% what they are doing and do their

Yes! Cartman and those he represents are so reductive of women and have such a substantial misunderstanding about what is being argued about, that in the frenzy of repeating talking points read on Reddit and heard on you tube, he actually accidentally includes the other sides talking points. At a certain point, both

Without a doubt, South Park was making fun of people who generalize what female comedians do. Understand that Cartman is the butt of the joke. The broad dehumanizations demonstrated by Cartman showcase the "women aren't funny" logic. It isn't that women are or aren't funny, it is the lack of understanding that women

i admire how the show runner is still pushing the show into different creative directions and taking chances. Devoting most of episode to mimic so well, a totally different type of tv show was inspired. And, it worked with the logic of the show and perfectly explained the concept that is essential for the overall

A lot of the the jokes were amazing, but the Cartman stuff was the best of them. With only a b plot air time to work with, the "Cartman and funny women" was so efficient and articulate. Many other tv comedies (Amy Schumer, SNL,etc) have had their try, but this was the best i've seen so far.

That so true, the show sometimes tries to put out too many loose ends. I didn't think about that. Also, by making each episode a complete story would allow people to not be afraid to jump in if they missed a previous episode.

For about the first half of the episode, i had the idea that for season 6, AHS each episode could be a complete horror short story. Each episode (like the teaser trailers) could or would be a completely different story and theme. That way all the teasers would actually be connected to the season.

Just finished binge watching all 8 episodes on 2 days. Amazing story. Turturro is a great actor but the role of Stone is so well written to be a 3 dimensional fully formed human being with quirks and emotional arcs that most middle aged b to c list actors could knock this out of the park. The cat and the eczema are

Just started watching. I finished the first episode 15 mins before writing this comment. I waited for the series to complete so i could binge the whole story. So far,so good. I really hope "The Night of" becomes this year's "True Detective First Season".

Not as great as Colbert or Oliver, but not bad enough to deserve being cancelled so soon. CC should have given Larry at least double the time he was given. I vote Grace Para to take over the time slot.

Im on season one episode 7, too bad you guys quit on the show. Its just gets better with each episode.

Great article. My high school years were 90 to 94. I grew up on Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden and had a front row seat to everything in this article. 90's "Alternative" rock was always meant as emotional support group for those not accepted in the mainstream or popular crowds, most of the time by defult and not by

i actually waited until July 2016 to binge the whole season 3 in 2 days. As far as CW shows go, the 100 is might be the best (or the least young adult-ish). Season 3 is improved by watching back to back to back. That is because the writing is less "of the week" compared to other shows on the CW. The 3rd season and the

The first half of season 3 was Game of Thrones, the second half is Battlestar Galactica.

Alie is a Cylon. She even got the god dam red dress.
