Several studies show that calories in, calories out is not the best approach. It doesn't matter if you have underlying issues or not.

It's honestly not that simple for a lot of people. I'm glad it worked for you, but there has been SO MUCH RESEARCH showing that it's different for everyone. It's very frustrating and condescending when people just tell you to count calories.
