Roberts isn’t making the game by himself, there are several other developers with great track records that have been and are currently involved in the project. I will say Roberts is a pretty big question mark, though. I loved the Wing Commander games (though Privateer was my favorite), but I never played Starlancer.

I never, in my life, have run after a golf ball. So gimme a rock.

Nah not really, If you follow the production you can see the progress. Still in alpha, most games that are developed have a similar amount of time being produced before ever reaching beta. We have just been given a full roam of the process for the first time. People criticize and poke fun, but, it’s kinda silly

They tried to, but couldn’t figure out the correct syntax in time and were subsequently eaten by a Grue.

True story: that’s every industry. With the increase of technology and automation, humans will eventually be purposeless in the workforce. And not just in labor, but in complex fields that’s require advanced degrees once sufficiently intelligent AI come about.

“Hello police? Yeah we got a Democrat down here showing concern about children - which I think is illegal!”

Thank you. There is a central issue that brought the characters together, I think it is still too far in the background (or in the future) though. The part about tweaking the challenges is helpful, thank you.

Um. That’s WWI dude. It was a real war. That really happened. From 1914 to 1918.

I won’t see it until I can pirate it

Guys, a black, gay furry superstar making a hard-fought comeback in an anime fighting game is the feel good story in esports this year.

I don’t think you’re reading this right. The matter is simply that people have a right to make a game and people have a right to criticize the shit out of it. No one has a first amendment right to sell their game on Steam. We as a society have a right to find something abhorrent and turn our backs on it. This isn’t

GamerGate was always a vehicle for frustrated anti-intellectual manchildren to reinforce their own prejudices. That’s how it came about, that’s how it grew. I don’t think TB necessarily was in on the larger picture, though. Sure, he’s said some controversial things, but I was always under the impression that he just

Fuck anyone and everyone trying to drag his name through the mud on the day that he fucking died. Regardless of what you think about him, show some compassion and human decency. I hope none of you are ever unfortunate enough to become terminally ill and leave your family behind. If you don’t have anything productive

I have watched and listened to Totalbiscuit’s work for a lot of years. He could be brazen and loud, but underneath all of that was someone who believed that there was really something called Truth, which is not created, but uncovered and (mis)represented.

I’m eyeing 40, and even that seems twenty years too soon. I didn’t watch Bain’s videos, and I’m aware he was a contentious figure—but fuck cancer. It’s the sort of rot no one really deserves.

Hoping his family and friends can find strength in this time of loss.

He wasn’t that much older than me and he went fast from a normal life to very sick to gone. To young.

Now playing

I advise everyone to watch this incredible series with TotalBiscuit and Jesse Cox. It’s hilarious and perfectly encapsulates what made TB special - sardonic, silly, but aware of how to entertain.

...and clicking a couple of the ads sure could help too (though YouTube might balk)

Fuck. Cancer.

Most people who fail at one career go on to another one. People who lose their jobs might pull in welfare for a bit, but then they get new jobs.

I used to work at Wendy's. The burgers that are overdone are put in the chili-meat bin. Then it's broken up and put in the chili. I see nothing wrong with that. Anything that hits the floor, goes into the garbage, like it should.
