Right, how dare all those people starting small businesses demand recompense for their labor. How dare people want to do more than simply subsist on basic food, water, and shelter. How dare someone want to rise above their station.

If you actually read the article, it’s pointing out that greed is an underlying theme of the entire Mario franchise, and indeed has been since the first game; the “honesty” is the Wario franchise admitting that it’s the focus, and leaning into it. It’s also worth noting that that greed led Wario to stop being a thief…
It’s actually not. A President, once impeached and convicted, loses his pension and protective detail, among other things, and can no longer offer pardons, such as to those people who participated in the insurrection.
So, you folks are paying somebody to get far away from everybody in a cabin in the woods and read books?
I feel I should add that she also got me the TIE Defender LEGO model when it was still around, given my love for LEGO and the TIE Fighter game. Sadly, it has since been lost to squirrels.
A brand new, in box copy of Steel Battalion, controller and all. This was when copies were running scarce. My wife is awesome.
Yes, because that’s how a discussion works. Somebody posits an idea, and then it is discussed and the merits judged. Something Awful is generally good at having good conversations.
Of course this is from Something Awful. Did the discussion yield any counterpoints?
Cyberpunk is big because of the setting, just like how Deus Ex was. Cyberpunk also has a very long-running game behind it, with matured rules that have been refined over time, a long-lived setting, and plenty of other media behind it. Is it as big as Star Wars? Of course not. Neither was the Witcher series, which…
Like the Witcher series?
I mean, you can. The old saw “if something is free, you are the product” still stands; free stuff is there to entice you to use their software, so you’re more likely to use their store and allow them to track your usage habits. How you feel about that is very much a personal choice, of course, and Epic isn’t alone…
Are you really telling the people who reviewed the game pre-release and played quite far into the game (if not completed it) what content is in the game?
Because it doesn’t currently apply to anybody else.
Honestly, it sounds mostly like a playtesting problem. When you rely on the community for playtesting, something like the new user experience tends not to be tested as much, and is affected pretty heavily by player knowledge of events. At least you’ve got a grasp of the bigger picture now!
Yeah, that happened in the pre-patch event, so the edges are definitely rough there. Saurfang is captured by the Alliance, and you’re sent to free him. You instead wind up freeing the troll princess, while Saurfang elects to stay behind. It’s a pretty significant plot point, and sounds like they dropped the ball on…
That’s pretty much it, really. WoW is both blessed and burdened with over a decade of legacy play, much of it more fondly remembered than actually played at this point. These recent changes to get new players on board quickly and smooth the leveling process will help, but all it takes is a quick jaunt through Burning…
The old starting zones are also still available. Exile’s Reach is there to smoothly get new players into the game, and becomes optional after that.
You’re right, there isn’t. Apparently, the fact that the iPhone is so secure that the FBI can’t get into it escaped your notice. The fact that a door is a door, even if it’s closed, escaped your notice. Do some basic research on security penetration.
If there’s a way to sideload apps, there’s a way to force sideloading apps. That poses an inherent security risk.
