A character portrayed as underage isn’t sexually mature, any more than any awkward young girl who physically matured quickly is. Fantasizing about underage girls, real or imagined, is still pedophilia, just as fantasizing about fucking someone who can’t consent, real or imagined, is still a rape fantasy. If you have

So's a swastika.

No, it’s no tangent. If capability to give consent isn’t part of your attraction calculus, you are, as ColonelHotdog stated, a creep. Have fun with your rape fantasies.

So, your stance is that portrayed physical maturity is more important than mental maturity.

(and FFXI was notorious for it)

It’s entirely due to being strapped to any kind of finite progression system. As long as there is a “best,” that becomes everybody’s goal. Best gear, best level, best stats. And as long as all of those are capped (because, let’s face it, developers are mortal and can’t develop content faster than players can grind

This... actually makes them somewhat useful. It’d be nice if they weren’t offered as a replacement for actual useful health insurance, but it certainly makes them much more attractive than some other not-quite-insurance options.

Consider me moderately amused at your anonymity. Lovely article as always.

Good thing nobody mentioned the level squish and option to level up in any single expansion you want from 10 to 50, so a new character could level through content you haven’t touched yet and keep the experience fresh...

3D printing isn’t there yet. PLA and resin printers can’t make parts that are both as durable and as detailed as injection molding yet, so the decision would be to make a toy that looks exponentially worse or breaks much more easily than existing ones. Until the tech catches up, it’s just not feasible.

Just wanted to say that I appreciate your name. Great book, and great character.

They do. It would have taken you ten seconds of googling to figure this out.

She’s allowed her opinion. Other people are allowed to not want to give her money because of her opinions. They are allowed to share their opinion. And yes, you are allowed to tell someone that you disagree with their beliefs, and act accordingly. By the same token, people are allowed to tell you that they disagree

Sadly, buying Russian gold is disturbing, but not illegal.

It’s the logic of the opinion that is game-changing. The Supreme Court ruled that any discrimination based on gender preference or orientation is inherently discrimination based on sex. That has much, much wider ramifications than just Title VII.

See, you’ve made the mistake of confusing “gender” and “sex,” something biologists don’t do. The latter is what you’re thinking of, the set of chromosomes you’re given that may be XX, XY, XXX, XXY, XYY, or even more rare combinations. The former is “male” and “female,” something that is applied based on assumptions

And the SC decision has pretty much unilaterally rolled back Trump’s directive.

Yeah, I’m not making any claims about the artist, but rather the card designers.

All of MtG is about killing creatures of other colors. Just about every base set has a card that "kills all non-white creatures" or "all no black creatures." It's just less problematic when talking about blue or green creatures.

It’s not even necessarily a picture of klansmen, as that style of hood was used by various holy orders over the centuries. That’s the inspiration of the Klan hoods, in fact. So it’s two coincidences, which add up to a double-whammy of accidental racism.
