It is not a counterpoint at all - you do realize his article is precisely my point: leftists (black and white) believe, wrongly, that Obama did not help them when in fact he did, and the evidence is on the record in his executive orders, his changes in Fed hiring, where/when/how he advocated for those fellow Americans

Not to mention his greatest achievement: Being a member of an activist black christian church and a secret muslim at the same time. That is a helluva trick.

Wilson knew at least a month ago his contract would not be renewed. This was widely reported. He was not fired for speaking out against Trump’s photo-op with the house negroes from the HBCUs. Wilson walked away from that bullshzt, regretting his/their decision to go and he spoke out about it.

I agree. And to fire him when he was really just a couple months away from the end of his tenure - the message they are sending is pretty clear, to me at least, and that is to sit down and shut up. I don’t know, I’m sure it’s more complicated then that, but that’s how it looks like from the outside.

Isn’t the “Morehouse man” rigorously upright? Isn’t he supposed to call BS when he sees it?

Let me try and take a crack at it::

It just shows, as your stats reflect, that even black folk and certainly liberals ignored many of Pres O’s other significant achievements beyond ACA, Bin Laden, Cuba, Environment, Iran, and so on while falling for the Obama didn’t do anything for black/brown folk. Obama was smart and low-keyed (to the ignorant) many

Yeah, I’m not worried about his ability to find another well paying gig. I am, however, surprised that the Trustees didn’t understand the value of letting him speak his mind for 3 months and then just let the contract lapse. They are in for a shitstorm now.

I kinda think he volunteered to take a bullet for the other HBCUs since he was heading out anyway. I would imagine that there must be other presidents who wish they were in a position to be as outspoken as he was.

Wait... The president of a historically black college is fired for calling out an openly racist president about the press conference/photo-op he rope a doped them into attending by pretending he was interested in hearing what they had to say?

This additional information is important given the fact that up until recently I kept reading posts that basically said something to the effect of “Obama didn’t do shit for HBCUs.” Given where I was reading these comments I assumed that many of the people writing it and saying it were black folk. I didn’t necessarily

I have no doubt John Wilson will be fine. Being fired won’t hurt him. He stood up and said what needed to be said. How HBCUs will fare, that I don’t know.

The house is more comfortable than the field. Jeezus. Spot on.

I’m certain her family had planned a victory dinner at Golden Corral for her.

I’m not shocked they weren’t arrested that day.

I am shocked they’ve been convicted of a crime.

Not as shocked as they seem to be, though.

The judge clearly suffered a mini-stroke while making that statement, which caused him to briefly forget which state he was presiding in. We shouldn’t chide him for his lapse, but instead encourage him to seek medical attention.

Ok but, when can get get the “rebel” flag to be legally considered a hate group symbol on a federal level? None of this actually means anything until that can get squared off.

I swear white people have this uncanny ability to do devilish shit and then bust out some Simone Biles, gold medal level, mental gymnastics to distance themselves from their own behavior.

Once again, the most prolific terrorists in our country are gun-waving white people.

I’m wondering when all the phony white savior types start flocking to this article to say how sorry they are<_<
