Came here to say the same thing. Pretty much, when the testimonies conflict, the court sides with the more believable one. In this case, she was more believable than Busch's "trained assassin" story.

Removing cats is just stupid. The power gain is minuscule (even on modified engines, with the right cats) and the resulting environmental damage is huge. Cats are the single biggest reason all of our cities don't look like LA circa 1969.

They DRAMATICALLY reduce the harmful emissions from vehicles (by a huge amount...we're not talking a little thing here...a lot of people underestimate what they do), and do so in a way that is extremely power and fuel…

Can you cite any of these stories? Not to question your statement, I just have never seen any such stories where this type of swatting resulted in accidental deaths and it would be good to be aware of it in future discussions.
