No bet, it's a given.

Only the original five X-Men (Cyclops, Marvel Girl, Angel, Beast, Ice Man) came forward, Kitty is still current. Back when Bobby was learning to be Ice Man, he was only able to sheathe himself in snow, not ice, so they've been able to keep the two versions of him visually distinct from each other in the comics.
SimCity being online-only is as good an idea as Madden being turn-based.
Only kind of? It's crap like that that keeps me from any Origin game, nevermind this particular one.
Considering all the SimCity games prior to this one have been solely single player, it's an easy misconception to make if you don't frequent gaming news sites. It's like buying Madden 2014 and finding out it's become a turn-based game; it goes contrary to all previous games in the series.
The one where Wolvie crawls up the mountain after Hulk rips him in half was actually in the Ultimate universe, and he still had his adamantium bones then. Although as nobody seems to have noticed, adamantium bones doesn't mean adamantium ligaments or cartilage, so there should be nothing stopping anyone from tearing…
Tell me about it, out publicity manager definitely isn't doing his job.
What, you mean the modular armor that they started in the comics a few months ago?
That's the impression I got from the article as well. This game went from "I don't want to support the DRM but if the game is really damn good I might get it anyway" to "only if the game gives you blowjobs while you play it".
From what I understand this game will be worse than Ubi's DRM. Those games only required you to be online and were easily defeated by a crack, or eventually an official patch by Ubi when the game got old.
That statement is exactly why I'm giving this game a pass, despite enjoying the previous SimCity games. I'll play with other people occasionally when I want a break from playing single-player, but a game that DEPENDS on other people is an absolute no-go as far as I'm concerned.
My folks are Hungarian... I spoke Hungarian as well as English as a kid, but the Hungarian faded away as I spent the years in school and my parents got more comfortable in English. I barely remember any Hungarian words anymore.
I think that people who spent the time and effort to learn multiple languages deserve that advantage.
I'm a big fan, but even if it gets rave reviews, I categorically refuse to support an "always-online" game with my money. If they patch it away I'll reconsider.
You'd be surprised how many things are cheaper to do in real life than with CG.
Funny, whenever I look at the Cities XL forums on Steam, it's filled with posts saying "DON'T BUY THIS GAME".
I think the release will go off without a hitch, mostly because I honestly don't believe there'll be enough players to strain the servers. SimCity, while a respected name, is hardly a "hot" title. I also think EA has lost a fair number of sales due the "always online" aspect of the game. I'm certainly not inclined…
Calling something awful is an objective statement, which means the person is stating an absolute. However, the quality of something is a subjective thing, meaning it's perceived differently by different people. Making an objective statement about something that's subjective makes the person is stating that his…

Maybe, but you should play Borderlands anyway.
