I loved my 1981 FJ40 when I worked in Indonesia. Great jungle machine. I could fix it with a pair of pliers, screwdriver and a rock. The suspension is bullet proof. The 2F engine doesn't come alive until you get rid of that over designed carburetor from Japan and replace it with a Webber. Then it is amazing. I don't

Pretty cheap ragtop to be had there...NP

A lot of back breaking work and black lung from the rust dust to be had there...enjoy

I think the interior is boring ...

How many kits did they sell I wonder? At that price I suspect not many.

Your all wrong. A Station Wagon must have fins and it must be a Plymouth...

I own a 2014 Ridgeline Touring. It is a fantastic truck! Rides like a boss. I don't haul shit like M1 tanks so it works for me. Also because Dakar race ready!

I guess the ejection seat doesn't work either.

Mordor when it burns oil....

I had a 1978 Volvo 262. Very cool car. A lot of cows had to die to make the interior. I hated the Peugeot designed V6 though...a dog and noisy and always broken...this is not my car but identical to it.

I agree with most. I was looking for a C4 Zr-1 and I found most have around 33,000 miles on them. Why is that? Most are in show room condition too. Why is that?

If the Honda engine was an F20C from an S2000 with a supercharger and its 6 speed manual, I would NP this all day long. But its not...and here we are...why?

A 5.0 litre Coyote engine in this thing would be awesome with a 6 speed from a Mustang wreck. I really like the simplicity with the armstrong windows and spartan interior. Electrical problems would be a breeze. It has the venerable 9 inch rear end which is ready for something bigger in the engine department.

Yes please...

Sold of course. Nice example. 88's are awesome, Not a big fan of the padded cement block look of the interior but thats was GM in the 80's. Bits are going to fall off. Just pull over and pick them up. Windshield washer pumps are going to be a constant hunt and the wiring will be a pain, but I think still a collector.

Ya I got it just after I hit the publish button. Sorry graverobber! I understand it all now. Oh ya CP...10 grand less and its a NP.

It's not something I would buy because I would drive it in the dirt and the mud and whatever else I could find. I am not sure this Jeep should be driven anymore. Like you said "This one is just as good(?) and (as?) AMC intended it, in Laredo clothing." I totally agree. If its a mint original through and through and

Your correct. It's been one of those weeks.

Yes so dont piss him off.
