Haha. I live in a (Canadian) neighbourhood with a lot of Portuguese families and the mom, two grown kids and their grandpa fight like crazy. I can hear them through the walls screaming at each other - the worst was a few years ago at Christmas when the screaming woke me up at 8am).

I get on a bus that daily travels on a major highway for about 20 minutes. I get on at a point where i am always able to get a seat but there is always like 5-20 people standing the whole way. And i live in a place with bad winter weather in Canada. I have no idea how the bus can get around seatbelt laws or anything…

My (otherwise pretty good) roommate leaves close to an hour and a half later than i do for work in the morning but often seems to like to beat me to the bathroom by a minute, to shower first.

Maybe it just makes him feel secure, like he has his own personal mini fort. I remember being 4-5 and often taking all my stuffed toys off the shelves and putting them on the bed, where i’d then crawl into the middle and go to sleep. It was comforting.
This is a relief, MEC is the definitive outdoor brand in Canada, i would be really disappointed if it was a bust. My friend works at their store in Toronto and the perks there are great (but you do have to be super active and knowledgable to begin with).
